Who inspects RVs near Alva and the Franklin Lock?

We do. RoadRunners serves the Alva and Franklin Lock area near Babcock Ranch through the 2026โ€“27 winter, starting around November 8. A certified inspector comes to your site, wherever the rig is parked.

The area we cover this season

For the 2026โ€“27 winter, RoadRunners serves the Alva and Franklin Lock area, near Babcock Ranch. If your rig is parked anywhere around here โ€” along the river, in a nearby park, or in your own driveway โ€” you're well inside the area we cover this season.

We're a mobile service. We come to where the RV is, and the work happens there.

When can I book?

We arrive in Southwest Florida around November 8, 2026. You don't have to wait until we're here to get on the calendar โ€” appointments can be booked ahead, and the earlier you call, the more dates there are to choose from.

What we can do for you

If you're buying, we do pre-purchase inspections. You pick the package:

  • Essential Package (NRVIA Level 1) โ€” a basic condition inspection of the interior and exterior, roof, slides, awnings, doors and windows, appliances and systems, with a written summary, photos and a list of recommended repairs and concerns.
  • Premier Package (NRVIA Level 2) โ€” everything in the Essential Package, plus more extensive testing, a moisture and water intrusion evaluation, 30 to 60+ photos and short videos of important findings.

Either one is a full day on the rig โ€” eight to ten hours โ€” and your report arrives within 24 hours. Prices by RV type are on the home page.

If you already own it, we diagnose and repair air conditioners, furnaces, generators, refrigerators and water heaters, and we handle routine maintenance like water heater descaling and generator upkeep.

Buying from out of town?

A lot of rigs around here change hands between people who aren't in the same place. If you're buying something parked near Alva but you live somewhere else, the Premier Package's short videos let you see what the inspector saw โ€” the roof, the bays, the appliances running โ€” without making the trip. Essential or Premier walks through how to choose.

Two things to know up front

  • We don't inspect or repair anything over ten years old.
  • The inspector never repairs an RV he inspected. Your report is written by someone who doesn't stand to earn anything from what it finds.

What we'd check first on a rig that lives here

The problems we find most often are slide seals, roof sealant and window seals, followed by strained air conditioners and water heaters. The first three are all about water, and slides, windows and the roof are where water intrusion does the most damage. If you own your rig, checking those seals yourself and walking around it before every move are two habits that pay off.
